How the calls work
What decides each market, what we tested, and what we're still measuring.
The price to beat is the average Chainlink price over the 60 seconds before the window opens. The final price is the same average over the last 60 seconds. In the final minute, part of the result is already counted, which is what Near-certain calls use.
Hourly markets compare Binance's hourly open and close. Daily markets use the close of Binance's 12:00 PM ET one-minute candle. The site reads these numbers directly from Binance.
Over 72 hours of 5- and 15-minute windows, a plain volatility model did not beat Polymarket's own prices after fees. So we don't sell model leans as an edge. Locks and Near-certain calls are graded live on the scorecard below.
Each 5- and 15-minute price to beat we compute is compared with Polymarket's official number once it's published, usually 10 to 20 minutes after the window closes.
